Dr. Jes and Dr. Danielle are specially trained in using Traditional Chinese Medicine to improve neurological function by increasing the blood flow to the affected nerves, reducing inflammation, and reducing pain & stress levels.

Working with the nervous system directly, Dr. Jes can help the nerves to repair themselves by increasing blood flow and nutrition to the affected areas. She also works with the surrounding musculature to support the improvements made on every level.

Treatment will benefit those with the following conditions:

  • Sciatica
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Trigeminal Neuralgia
  • Bell’s Palsy
  • Post-stroke Recovery
  • Post-Herpetic Neuralgia & Shingles

Neurological conditions such as these are treated
by blending the time-tested science of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine
with innovative medical solutions like ATP Resonance BioTherapy™.

We are able to improve your symptoms and give you a better quality of life!

Sciatica

Sciatic pain is all too common in American life – often a result of a seated lifestyle or overwork, and in some causes trauma to the spine through accidental injury or even giving birth!

This pain typically starts in the low back or glutes (butt) and radiates down the leg. This pain can range from mild discomfort to debilitating pain.

Dr. Jes can work with the injured vertebrae to relieve pressure on the nerve root, as well as reduce inflammation along the affected nerves. Ultimately reducing the underlying injury and reducing pain symptoms so that you can live your best life!

Peripheral Neuropathy

In patients with Peripheral neuropathy, damaged nerves in the hands and feet can cause stiffness, tingling, numbness, and pain. We know that this can reach the level of unbearable pain, and restrict daily activities including walking and even driving.

Our technique focuses on increasing blood flow by stimulating blood vessels for regrowth providing the peripheral nerves with the proper nutrients to heal and repair.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is often a diagnosis of last resort, but we know that it is caused by overstimulation of the nervous system, causing pain and emotional discord.

Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine are extremely effective in reducing chronic pain and anxiety associated with Fibromyalgia. In fact, the 18 points used to test for this condition are actually acupuncture points!

Dr. Jes trained under fibromyalgia specialist Dr. Liang for 2.5 years, and very consistently gets relief for her patients from these symptoms.

Trigeminal Neuralgia

Trigeminal Neuralgia is known to be one of the most painful conditions with limited treatment options available in modern medicine. It can impact the eye, cheek, and jaw, and can be very sensitive to touch.

Acupuncture has been shown to significantly relieve the pain associated with Trigeminal Neuralgia by reducing inflammation of the affected nerve and reducing strain on the surrounding muscular system.

Bell’s Palsy

This condition is characterized by an unexplained episode of facial muscle weakness or paralysis. Patients with this condition often show facial dropping on one side, including the eyelid, cheek, and mouth.

Onset typically occurs over a 48-hour period. And while it can resolve on its own, but may also become permanent without intervention.

Chinese Medicine has proven to be very effective in reducing inflammation around the facial nerve as well as keeping the facial muscles well nourished. The sooner treatment is applied, the better and faster the results.

Post-Stroke Recovery

Post-stroke loss of function affects everything including brain-body communication, nerve health, and muscle viability.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine help in post-stroke recovery by working with the entire nervous system. Simulating neurotransmitter signals, the communication between brain and body is slowly regenerated. At the same time, increasing blood flow to the nerves and muscles allows the body to maintain and recover healthy functions.

The combination of this therapy, in conjunction with standard medical treatment, can significantly improve outcomes for post-stroke patients. We help our patients achieve the greatest level of independence possible after stroke injury.

Post-Herpetic Neuralgia & Shingles

Shingles is a reactivation of the chickenpox virus, and typically affects a single dermatome of the body as a rash with blisters and severe pain. Unfortunately, this pain can persist indefinitely even after the rash has resolved.

The science of Chinese Medicine has proven to be very effective in both reducing the outbreak of the shingles and resolving the post-herpetic neuralgia associated with it. The earlier one receives treatment, the faster results occur.
