SAAT (Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment) is one of the most effective natural treatments available for treating allergies, and offers long lasting results. Originally developed for the treatment of Alpha-Gal Syndrome, SAAT has proven effective for any identifiable allergy including gluten, pet-allergies, seasonal allergies, molds, and more.

Allergies are one of the most common medical problems in daily life, especially here in the Scenic City, and can also be addressed with Acupuncture and herbal medicine to reduce allergy symptoms in conjunction with or independently to the SAAT protocol.

SAAT (Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment)

  • SAAT is a powerful, single needle treatment that has been used for over 10 years to help folks get long-term relief from allergies and symptoms.
  • Dr. Nader Soliman developed SAAT after continuing the work of the French neurologist and physician, Dr. Paul Nogier. Dr. Jes has been trained and certified directly by Dr. Soliman!
  • SAAT is recommended for the treatment of all types of allergies including environmental allergies, food, animal, medications, and toxins.

When an allergic reaction occurs, the body is overreacting to something in the environment and determining it is harmful when it is not. The treatment teaches the body to stop overreacting, so when it encounters that substance, it no longer causes a stress or allergic response.

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome occurs when mast cells become over reactive. Overactive mast cells produce many inflammatory chemicals, including histamine. MCAS symptoms may range from mild to severe and include hives, flushing, allergies, and digestive symptoms. MCAS may also be present when there is brain fog, sinus congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes, or headaches after eating certain foods. Joint pain, fibromyalgia pain, anxiety, and palpitations have also been reported by those with mast cell issues.

With the addition of two homeopathic remedies and two ear needles, SAAT can help those with MCAS experience fewer to no symptoms!

Alpha-Gal Syndrome

Watch Dr. Jes with SAAT patient Johnny Thornton, who no longer suffers from Alpha-gal!

A tick bite causes Alpha-gal Syndrome, the so-called ‘red meat’ allergy. The Lone Star tick causes sensitivity to a sugar molecule (galactose-α-1,3-galactose) found in most mammals. Alpha-gal is present in meats such as pork, beef, rabbit, lamb, and venison, as well as in products made from mammals (including gelatin, cow’s milk, and milk products).

The tick injects the alpha-gal carbohydrate, found in its saliva, into a person’s skin during feeding. In response, the person’s body will then release immunoglobulin E antibodies to combat the foreign substance’s presence. Later on, the person’s immune system may attack after they eat red meat and digest the Alpha-gal carbohydrate.

Alpha-gal Syndrome can manifest as hives, swelling, stomach upset, diarrhea, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, headaches, a drop in blood pressure, and also in certain individuals, anaphylaxis.

Those suffering from Alpha-gal Syndrome may experience reactions to eating meat, meat fumes, or food products and cosmetics containing red meat byproducts hours after contact, making the cause of symptoms difficult to detect.

Research has shown that SAAT provides the strongest relief from Alpha-gal allergy symptoms among all other techniques! You can read more from a study done about its effectiveness for Alpha-gal here.

Hormone Allergies in Fertility Treatment

Hormone allergies can significantly impact fertility by disrupting the delicate hormonal balance necessary for reproductive health. Allergic reactions to hormones do happen, such as those used in fertility treatments. They can manifest as various symptoms, including skin rashes, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Fertility may be impaired in cases where individuals are allergic to hormones. Sometimes your immune system may react to hormones crucial for reproductive processes, such as estrogen or progesterone.

Allergic reactions can then interfere with ovulation, implantation, or sperm production, leading to difficulties in conceiving. Additionally, managing hormone allergies during fertility treatments can pose challenges. So it may limit the types of medications or procedures that can be safely utilized, among other complications. Therefore, addressing hormone allergies is essential in the comprehensive assessment and management of infertility concerns. Researchers have studied and utilized SAAT for over a decade to retrain the immune system. We have seen amazing cases of remission of fertility allergies!

SAAT Evaluation & Treatment

Firstly, at the beginning of your evaluation, you will be tested to see if you are allergic to the needle or adhesive. However, if you show a reaction to one or both of these, treatment for these must happen first before proceeding with the original allergy treatment.

For the treatment, a very small needle is inserted into a specific place on the right ear, covered with medical adhesive and left in for 3-4 weeks. Then at the end of that time, the allergy should be remission and you may start to slowly reintroduce the substance! If there is a history of an anaphylactic response, we don’t recommend that you reintroduce the allergen, but expect you will be less concerned with accidental or cross contamination exposure.
